You see, I’ve loved pasta for longer than I can recall. Since my hubby is Italian, it means that a pasta meal with lots of sauces gets a lot of attention, and my kids have some good love for it too. That makes pasta a preferred meal for my family. But do you know what beats me? Boiling it.
When you want to cook pasta, you usually have to put it in a pot and let it boil, and that brings me a somewhat bad feeling of being impatient, and it’s been happening until one Harold McGee revealed the key.
This guy, who happens to be the smart author of Keys to Good Cooking, has come up with a trick to make my pasta cooking experience faster and more fun. The trick is to use a frying pan to speed up the process of boiling the pasta, and that now replaces the pot that seemed to take ages to get the job done.
